What is special about the new Labello Naturally Vegan Lip Care?

This is really a new era for Labello. Our Labello Naturally Vegan Açai Seed Oil & Organic Shea Butter and Labello Naturally Vegan Hemp Seed Oil & Organic Shea Butter are composed of 100% natural origin ingredients, which means without mineral oils, for example. The formula is vegan, and the line ingredient is organic shea butter for smooth and soft lips. The secondary packaging is plastic-free, and the cardboard of the blister is FSC certified. But above all: these are the first Labello products to receive natural cosmetics certifications by Ecocert® Cosmos Natural – really sustainable lip care.

Which ingredients has the Labello Naturally Vegan and why?

We chose the two seed oil variants: açai and hemp. Açai berry grows in the Brazilian rainforest and is rich in free radical fighting antioxidants, vitamins B1, B2, B3, C and E, as well as healthy fatty acids omega 3, 6 and 9. Hemp seed oil is rich in vitamin E, as well as omega 3 and 6. This lip care protects against moisture loss and is good for dry skin.

On the one hand, we are aware of global trends and on the other hand, we take the wishes of our customers very seriously. Our studies have shown that more and more consumers want certified natural cosmetic products.

certification?

COSMOS stands for COSMeticsOrganic Standard. It is a unique international standard for natural and organic cosmetics.  This way, consumers know that they are buying a truly sustainable product. What are the main criteria that a product must meet to obtain the Ecocert®
Cosmos Natural certificate?

It’s a voluntary approach that covers all the steps of cosmetic product development. For Cosmos Natural, the most demanding requirement is related to sourcing only naturally originating ingredients (except a limited list of preservatives) throughout the entire supply chain.
