NATURAL INGREDIENTS

Every swipe of our Lip Balms is an invitation to experience the beauty of nature. We carefully select natural ingredients that work in harmony with your lips' unique needs. These ingredients are not only highly effective but also natural, like our ethically sourced shea butter, ensuring that your lips receive the care they deserve. When we talk about natural ingredients, we mean ingredients that are kept just as nature made it, derived from plants. That means, they are unmodified in their molecular structure and only obtained via physical processing like pressing or crushing, such as Ricinus Communis Seed Oil (Castor Oil) and Sunflower Oil.

NATURAL ORIGIN INGREDIENTS

Natural origin ingredients are also derived from plants, but modified through defined chemical and/or biological processes, such as Hydrogenated Rapeseed Oil. This creates new molecular structures which makes our lovely Labellos even more stable and enjoyable for you.
For the definition of “natural” we follow the only independent international standard for naturals in cosmetics – the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). According to ISO/DIS 16128, “natural origin” refers to ingredients that are more than 50% from natural sources

UV filters provide the most effective shield against harmful UV rays, protecting your delicate lip skin and preventing damage from the sun. Even though the amount of synthetic ingredients in some Labellos might be a bit higher due to these filters, this ensures that your smile stays bright, happy and protected! <3

ETHICALLY SOURCED SHEA BUTTER

What makes Shea Butter so lovable?
Shea butter is an amazing moisturizing all-rounder and a skin superfood that comes from the seeds of the Shea tree fruit. It is naturally rich in fatty acids and Vitamin A, E and F. We use this precious ingredient since it delivers caring skin properties, especially helping skin maintaining its moisturization. Plus, it gives pleasant sensory profile to the formula and makes it so lovable.

SUNFLOWER OIL

Sunflower Oil coats the lip skin with a thin film that seals the water in and keeps it hydrated longer and also bringing stability to the stick. It is a great source of the natural antioxidant Vitamin E.

BEESWAX

Beeswax is a natural wax produced by honey bees. Beeswax is a natural ingredient, that helps to create a pleasant consistency of the stick. It cares for your lips and helps to smoothen them.

CASTOR OIL

Ricinus communis oil also known as Castor Oil protects the lip skin from drying out by building a protective film on the lips and at the same time it stabilizes the stick. It forms a mechanical barrier, that keeps your lip moisturised and can help to improve the healing of cracked lips
